The Role:

The Franchise Sales Leader is responsible for increasing company revenue, brand recognition, good name, and presence through the expansion of Freeway Franchises. The position targets and converts high quality independent insurance companies as well as top quality insurance professionals who may work for other brokerages in a management capacity or as a top producing team that have aspirations of owning their own Insurance Company. The position is responsible for growing the franchise segment of our business through the selection of qualified prospects. The individual must possess sales expertise and have the ability to identify development opportunities through market analysis.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Utilize Franconnect on a daily basis to identify, target, contact and follow up with qualified franchisee prospects.
  • Qualify prospects based on meeting/exceeding financial requirements, knowledge of desired market and operational plan
  • Educate prospects on Freeway systems and FDD
  • Identifies, cultivates, manages and tracks new franchise opportunities.
  • Meets/exceeds all sales goals; responsible for appointment setting, weekly sales calls, and conversions. Makes cold-calls and sets in person appointments.
  • Utilizes data obtained from the MLS to research target markets and prospects, and to obtain a complete understanding of the dynamics of the market.
  • Builds and promotes relationships, and makes sound business determinations on all prospects.
  • Responsible for application timeline. Qualifies and convinces prospects to schedule a Company presentation.
  • Update Conversion Marketing Collateral for use in CPR value proposition and refine marketing strategy for conversion franchise sales process
  • Attend trade shows
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of related direct sales experience
  • Strong ability to build relationships through cold calling, over-the-phone conversations, and email
  • Ability to carry prospect through the sales conversion process, to closing the deal (with the aid of a manager), and for maintaining/building a personal relationship on the go forward
  • Ability to conduct presentations and hold one-on-one meetings
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Knowledge of franchise sales process and FTC regulations regarding franchise sales
  • Strong ability to overcome objections
  • Experience working with and selling to entrepreneur-minded individuals
  • Knowledge of Franconnect franchise sales system
  • Knowledge of retail store operations and products
  • Conducts searches through strategic searches (networking, cold calling, etc.)
  • Have a collaborative leadership style, with clear capacity to influence and cultivate relationships.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to find and attract new franchisees
  • Identify prospect needs and solution-oriented selling
  • Close sales by building relationships and trust with targeted conversion franchisees
  • Guide prospective franchisees through discovery process including obtaining business financial reports, store pictures, new franchisee application, and franchise agreement signing
  • Follow up with unsold prospects to reengage and maintain relationships
  • Attend industry tradeshows (when possible) to pursue leads and build relationships with targeted conversion franchisees
  • Execute new franchise agreements monthly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, as well as contact management software and mapping software
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Fluent in English & Spanish required
  • Ability to work remote
  • Valid driver's license
